More Pre-K classes are coming to the Mid-South.

Shelby County Schools and Bartlett City Schools will receive federal grant money to boost Pre-K programs.

SCS says it plans to add 33 classes by 2017. This federal grant only lasts for a year.

U.S. Rep. Steve Cohen was among the local, state and federal leaders in attendance.
