A big decision in Texas, could have an impact here in Tennessee. Yesterday, a Federal Court in Washington, D.C. struck down a Voter ID law in Texas. The law is very similar to the one here that requires voters show a picture ID before they can cast their ballot. Thursday’s decision is one Van Turner, Chair of the Shelby County Democratic Party, is watching closely.
