What’s In A Name, Breastfeeding Moms Stage “Nurse-Ins” And An Indiana Church Gives Parents Free Drug Testing Kits?

A Tennessee mother is appealing a judge’s ruling, which changes her son’s name from “Messiah” to “Martin”.

The child’s parents were in court fighting over the boy’s last name, when the judge said his first name was a problem too.

The judge says changing it is best for the child, who lives in an area with a large Christian population.

Two “nurse-ins” staged in the past week, one at the American Airlines counter at BWI, the other at a Chick-Fil-A restaurant in Tennessee after two moms were shamed by employees at the two companies, for breastfeeding their babies in public, without covering up.

An Indiana church is stirring things up, by giving parents free drug test kits.

600 people attended the event, but some parents have pushed back on drug testing because they say it violates children’s rights.

There are also concerns about mis-reading the test results and false positives.

A Washington Redskins fan has gone all out to show his support.
