News Channel 3 has reported recently on several cases of elder abuse, right here in Shelby County.
An estimated 5 million older Americans are abused in this country, each year.
Monday is World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, and this year, Shelby County has its first coordinated effort to end it.
Patti Tosti, who heads up Coordinated Response For Elder Abuse, stopped by with Belinda Bryan, the Elder Care Coordinator at the Family Safety Center.
