Nashville-based band Friends of Lola is made up of siblings Cyrena and Houston Wages of Memphis and Gabe Rabben of Laguna Beach, CA. Recent gigs at the famed Bluebird Cafe in Nashville and the CMA Fest have thrust them into the spotlight in Music City. Now, Cyrena, a former Miss Memphis, and her brother Houston are returning to Memphis for a hometown show. The concert is Friday, July 11th. Music starts at 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance at www.newbysmemphis.com, or $12 at the door. Openers are Memphis locals Austin Carroll with Kristina Hanford and Canaan Cox, and David Bradley, plus other local surprise guests.
