MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Memphis Police Department is now accepting applications from individuals to join its ranks.
Applications can be picked up at any police station in the Memphis area, the Criminal Justice Center at 201 Poplar, or the Memphis Police Training Academy on O.K. Roberston Road.
To apply, applicants must have completed 54 semester hours at a college or university or two years of military service with honorable discharge.
Applicants must be at least 21-years-old with no felony convictions or guilty pleas on their records.
The last day to turn in the application to the Memphis Police Training Academy on December 4, 2015, at 5 p.m.
The written entry exam will then be on December 12 at 7:45 a.m.
