LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — A search is underway for the next class of Arkansas State Troopers.
In order to apply, each applicant must fill out a contact form and submit a medical assessment from their doctor proving they are healthy enough to pass the physical test.
To be considered each individual must be 21 years of age or older, have a valid drivers license, and be a high school graduate or have their GED.
Anyone who has been convicted of a felony or domestic violence, or anyone who has tattoos that are visible while wearing the ASP uniform will not be accepted.
Those selected to participate will then begin class on May 8 with graduation scheduled for September 2016.
