One person was shot Friday afternoon at the Peppertree Apartments in Whitehaven, police said.

A shooting at the Peppertree Apartments left one person dead Saturday night.

Memphis Police responded at 10 a.m. to a report of a shooting at the Peppertree Apartments in the 4200 block of Graceland Drive. 

Memphis police were called to the Peppertree Apartments overnight where they found one person dead.

The man accused of shooting an acquaintance in the chest has been indicted on reckless homicide charges.

No suspect information is available at this time. 

Angelo Bunting was arrested on Tuesday and given a $100,000 bond after he began his crime spree early last month.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says little Steven Smith was taken by his father, 21-year-old Stevie Boyd, from the Peppertree Apartments in Whitehaven around 10:50 Tuesday night.
