It’s a Summer of Seniors at the Humane Society! They’re making it more affordable than ever to adopt a Furry Friend like 5-year-old Sharon. She’s one of many senior cats up for adoption at the Humane Society of Memphis and Shelby County . All summer long, all cats ages five and up are just $50 which includes spay and neuter services, microchip and vaccines. Speaking of spay and neutering, the Humane Society is kicking off a new and affordable way to help control the pet population. They’ve launched a mobile spay and neuter program provided by Fido Fixers! The mobile unit makes the services affordable and accessible to low-income residents on government assistance that can’t always afford the surgery, or have the transportation to get to a vet. To learn more, or make an appointment, call is (901) 937-3918. Meanwhile, don’t forget, Sharon and all her senior feline friends are up for adoption for just $50 all summer long! It’s a Summer of Seniors at the Humane Society!
