Our Furry Friend this week is Wendy!
This two-year-old cat was dumped at the Humane Society of Memphis and Shelby County crammed into a box with her five kittens.
They were all nursed back to health, and now all of Wendy’s kittens have been adopted, so this lonely girl really needs a new family of her very own.
She’s very sweet and loves affection.
If you’re interested in adopting Wendy, you can visit her at the Humane Society on Farm Road in Memphis, or call them at 937-3900.
Meanwhile, the Humane Society is looking for volunteers and people who are willing to foster some of the animals there.
You have two opportunities coming up to learn more about that.
Volunteer Orientation will be held Monday, November 7th at 6 p.m.
And, Saturday, November 19th at 10 a.m.
No RSVP is necessary.
All you have to do is show up!
But, you do have to be at least 17 years old.
Don’t forget, Wendy is looking for a forever family.
Call or visit the Humane Society of Memphis and Shelby County to take her home, with you!
