Get 20% off new gear with your trade-in

Target’s Car Seat Trade-In Event is back, offering a great opportunity if you need to upgrade your child’s car seat — you can now save some money while you do so. From now until May 10, participating Target stores are accepting old car seats — regardless of brand, condition or whether they’re expired — and providing a 20% off Target Circle bonus toward a new car seat, stroller or select baby gear. All you have to do is drop off your car seat in the designated box in your participating Target, scan the QR code on the box and tap “Add to Target Circle Bonus,” find your bonus in your Wallet in the Target app and use it before it expires on May 24.

This initiative not only helps you keep your child safe by getting a newer car seat, it also contributes to environmental sustainability. Target has recycled over 3 million car seats since 2016, repurposing materials into products like pallets and construction materials. It’s a win-win: You get a discount on essential baby gear, and your old car seat gets a second life.
