According to a leaked menu post by Markie Devo (a popular Instagram foodie who’s known for accurate industry scoops), new drinks are on the way — Food & Wine confirmed that the chain is dropping a new Iced Horchata Oatmilk Shaken Espresso this summer. Yum! Fans of last year’s Starbucks bubble tea can rejoice too, because it’s making a rumored comeback.
According to Devo, summer drinks are dropping May 20, and will include returning Blueberry and Blackberry Summer Refreshers with Raspberry Pearls, plus a new snack for those with a sweet tooth: a Strawberries and Cream Cake Pop. These drinks debuted last summer and marked Starbucks’ first time experimenting with boba on its menu. For bubble tea lovers, this is big news — those refreshing popping pearls at the bottom of the summery drinks are a refreshing and fun addition that many people will be happy to see return.
