MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The USDA is taking applications for Production Assistants from 9 a.m. to 12:00 PM on September 19, 2016 at 3275 Appling Rd., in Memphis.
Applicants must be a U.S. citizen and must bring picture ID and their social security card. Holiday and weekend work is required as needed. Selected employees must be able to work any shift. Work experience is helpful, but is not necessary and USDA will train those selected.
Openings are for day and night shifts. Criminal background checks are performed on all applicants. Weekend and holiday work as needed.
A DD-214 must be provided to qualify for veteran’s preference.
Males born after December 31, 1959 who are at least 18 years of age must be able to document registration with the Selective Service System unless certain exemptions are documented.
