MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Since wrapping up his college basketball days at Mississippi State, Olive Branch native D.J. Jeffries is getting his first shot in the pros with the Memphis Grizzlies in the NBA Summer League.
Though he began his college career playing for the Memphis Tigers, Jeffries finished his collegiate career with Mississippi State. Helping the Bulldogs to back-to-back NCAA Tournament berths under head coach Chris Jans.
Jeffries is expected to join the likes of GG Jackson, Trey Jemison, and Scottie Pippen Jr along with fellow rookies Zach Edey, Cam Spencer, and Jaylen Wells.
The Grizzlies Summer League run begins on July 8th in Salt Lake City.
