BRISTOL, Tenn. (WJHL) — Race fans showed up to cheer for their favorite drivers competing in the SciAps 300 race on Saturday.
It was the first Xfinity Series race held at Bristol’s spring race weekend since 2019 and was the second of three races at the Last Great Coliseum this weekend.
Ultimately, it was Kyle Larson who secured the win, leading 276 of the 300 laps in the process.
“Traffic is pretty crazy here,” Larson said. “I was having a good time just trying to make good decisions and all that.”
The 159.9-mile race followed Friday’s Craftsman Truck Series.
Chandler Smith secured the victory in the Truck Series race, including the Triple Truck Challenge bonus.
Next at Bristol Motor Speedway is the NASCAR Cup Series Food City 500, which kicks off at 3 p.m. ET on Sunday.
Meanwhile, the Xfinity Series will move on to the Rockingham Speedway in North Carolina for the North Carolina Education Lottery 250.
You can catch that race on Saturday, April 19 at 4 p.m. ET on The CW.
