Memphis Tigers freshman forward Adonis Thomas is skipping the NBA draft to return to Memphis for his sophomore season. Thomas told News Channel 3, he didn’t get the feedback he wanted from people looking into the draft. Thomas missed two months of this season with ankle surgery and didn’t get the exposure he had hoped for. Thomas averaged nine points and three rebounds in 19 games with the Tigers. Thomas hopes to play himself into next year’s lottery.
Memphian Arnett Moultrie, a 6-10 junior at Mississippi State, is leaving the Bulldogs a year early to enter the NBA draft. Moultrie plans to sign with an agent. The former Raleigh-Egypt high standout averaged 16 points and ten rebounds to earn first-team all-SEC honors.
