OXFORD, Miss. — The No. 14 University of Mississippi Rebels (9-3, 5-3 SEC) will conclude its season in Jacksonville, Florida against the Duke Blue Devils (9-3, 5-3 ACC) in the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl.

The Rebels and Blue Devils have never played each other.

This will be the fourth time the Rebels have played in the Gator Bowl, with their most recent appearance being against Michigan in 1991.

With a win in the Gator Bowl, the Rebels would notch their 10th win of the season, making it the third double-digit win season in four years. If they can accomplish that, it would be the first time that they’ve done so since 1959-1962.

The game will take place on January 2 at 6:30 p.m. CT and will air on ESPN.

The Rebels are 26-15 (63.4%) all-time in bowl games which is the fifth-best winning percentage nationally.
