MEMPHIS, Tenn. — It’s finally Friday, which means it’s time to look at several events happening across the greater Memphis area this weekend. There is something for everyone.
Let’s get started with the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Weekend! Celebrate the life and legacy of Elvis Presley with a jam-packed lineup including Elvis quiz shows and a blue suede BBQ dinner.
Of course, events will be held at Graceland. Tickets start at $20.
Broad Avenue Arts District invites you to its March Madness Game Night on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. There will even be prizes for winners! The event is free.
Have a car, truck, or motorcycle you want to show off? Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. you can show what’s under your hood at the Meddlesome Brewing Company in Cordova. It’s free to attend but if you plan on registering your car, the price is $30.
Proceeds go to the Dream Factory of Memphis, a non-profit granting dreams to chronically ill children.
Also happening on Saturday, Crosstown Concourse is back again with its third annual celebration of all things Super Mario! There will be arcade games, Mario Kart racing tournaments, and Wii stations! The event is free and from 1 to 3 p.m.
It’s Women’s History Month! Dixon Gallery and Gardens is hosting an event showcasing performances, artist markets, and panel discussions all led by women. The event is free and is Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
On Sunday Funday there’s a candle-making workshop! Falling Into Place invites you to indulge in a hands-on soy wax candle-making experience. The event starts at 4 p.m. along Broad Avenue. Tickets are $75.
