MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man is accused of fatally shooting his brother after a domestic dispute in Northaven, the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office confirmed.

According to detectives, the suspect, 34-year-old Brodrick Ross, shot his brother, 30-year-old Quincy Ross, around 12:15 a.m. outside a residence on Archie Drive.

Detectives said Brodrick Ross had placed the victim in a vehicle and fled the scene.

Brodrick Ross was apprehended at approximately 3 a.m. in Edmondson, Arkansas, by Crittenden County Sheriff’s Office deputies.

Quincy Ross’ body was discovered shortly thereafter, not far from where his brother was taken into custody.

Brodrick Ross was arrested by SCSO and has been charged with second-degree murder, especially aggravated kidnapping, carjacking, employing a firearm in commission of a dangerous felony, carjacking and tampering with evidence.

He’s also facing additional charges in Crittenden County.

He is currently being held in the Crittenden County Jail.
