MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A 22-year-old was arrested on Friday nearly three months after allegedly holding a woman against her will and shooting into a local convenience store.
Tekavious Randle has been charged with especially aggravated kidnapping, aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and two counts of vandalism over $1,000 for the 2024 incident.

On December 27, 2024, a female victim told officers she was at the Fast Mart in the 400 block of E. Shelby Drive around midnight when an acquaintance she knew as “TK Randle” got into the passenger side of her vehicle and allegedly pulled a gun on her.
The victim said Randle held a black handgun to her head and demanded she get into the passenger seat of the vehicle.
Randle then drove to the area of Hodge and Sanford, where the victim said he fired four shots through the windshield and smashed out her passenger side window with the handgun.
Randle then drove back to the Fast Mart, where he parked, took the keys and briefly went inside the store.
According to the police report, when he came back outside, he opened the driver’s side car door and fired multiple rounds at the business before driving off.
A store employee told officers that Randle was irate when he came into the store and smashed the credit card machine, destroying it before walking outside and firing the shots.
Police said the incident was captured on surveillance video.
At approximately 7:30 a.m., Randle drove back to the parking lot of the Fast Mart. At this point, the victim said he let her drive but told her to take him to his cousin’s house in the Westwood area.
Randle then told the victim she had a “smart mouth” and allegedly pistol-whipped her, striking her three times on the left side of the face.
The victim dropped the defendant off, went home and called the police and an ambulance.
On December 30, the victim came to the police station to provide an official statement and picked Tekavious Randle out of a six-person photo lineup as the person responsible for holding her against her will, pointing a gun at her and striking her.
The damage to her vehicle exceeds $1,000.
The cost to replace the store’s credit card machine is estimated at $500 and it is estimated the window repairs will cost $1,000.
Randle’s bond information is unknown at this time, but he is scheduled to appear before a judge on March 10.
