MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man was arrested on Saturday after police say he strangled his girlfriend and drove her car through a neighbor’s living room in July.
On July 11, a female victim reported an aggravated assault to Memphis Police which occurred in the 5000 block of Sea Shore Road.
She said that she was arguing with her boyfriend, Edwin Conner, inside of her car and in her driveway when Conner allegedly grabbed her neck with both hands and squeezed, which impeded her breathing until she lost consciousness.
The victim said when she regained consciousness, her car had crashed into her neighbor’s living room.
Officers saw and photographed the victim’s injuries. Conner has been charged with aggravated assault.
